The main object of research for the Center is the meaning of color and related issues. It integrates theory into practice and covers fields such as fundamental theory of color, artistic representation of color cultural history of color, aesthetics of color, color design and applications. The Center is setting up a standard system of color design and a curriculum for color studies in the country. Projects are ongoing in the Center in harmonizing the relation between landscape and architecture, urban color survey and planning, cultural relics renovation, and architectural color design.
