Aiming at elevating the research of Chinese fine arts and laying essential ground for the exchange of Chinese and Western art, the Center focuses its attention on the basic concepts of Chinese fine arts, the classical works of Chinese fine arts and the academic evolution of both Chinese and Western fine arts. Research results are published in various volumes such as The Forms of Fine Art History (Vol. 1 and Vol. 2), The Concepts of Fine Art History and Criticism of 20th Century Art. Forthcoming volumes are: The Records of Chinese Paintings from Different Dynasties, Annotated Classic Book and Collected Works by Wu Hufan.
