Growing out of the International Training Center, it is an important body in charge of foreign students. It aims at popularizing the Chinese culture and promoting international art exchange. Since 1980, there have been thousands of overseas students studying at the School. Every year, short-term courses in Chinese painting and calligraphy are offered, where overseas students can learn to appreciate Chinese culture. At present there are four workshops: Chinese Painting, Calligraphy, Chinese Culture Study, Chinese Language , as well as other regular programs such as Oil Painting, Print-making, Sculpture and Art History.
