  The department focuses on teaching and research of various prints and the art of print-making. It is one of the birthplaces of China¨s modern water-color and wood-block print. The programs aim to nurture specialists with good skills and knowledge of painting and print-making. Studios include woodcut, etching, lithography, and silk screen printing, as well as the studio of traditional water-color wood-block print.
