The New Art Journal is the official journal of the Academy. It was established in 1980 and holds high esteem in the art community in the country. Besides introducing innovative traditional and cotemporary art work, it lays emphasis on theoretical treatise both on Chinese and foreign art. Moreover, it is dedicated to turning art research into one the essential parts of humanities.
