The Shadowgraph Museum is founded on the base of the 45,000-piece contribution of shadowgraphs (leather-shadow puppetry) from Mr. Zhao Shutong. The collection includes originals of different styles from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) to the contemporary from all over China. The collection is so big that it can equip up to a hundred troupes to perform simultaneously.
